Hi, I'm Melissa Li, but my friends call me Lisa...
I'm the owner of Making The Impact LLC, a small business I started in 2018 with the goal of helping others with all their website and design needs. If you would like to learn more about my business, click here, otherwise you can check out some of my past work below.
A Bit About Me
I'm a web developer and graphic designer. I am currently attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University and University of Oklahoma to pursue my bachelor's in Computer Science (both major and minor).
I have a 3.9 GPA and my expected graduation date is sometime in 2023 or 2024 (depending on the availability of needed classes).
Over the past two decades, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, designing and creating for a variety of media depending on need and also for fun. I can build websites, design graphics for print, create videos, write articles, and more.
I build websites and web applications. The majority of websites I build are created in WordPress, however, this is due to the platforms popularity among my clients.
I have purchased commercial licenses for several WordPress plugins that make it so I can build feature rich websites fast and for a much lower cost than I could building on any other platform.
I've put together complete websites in about 5 days, though some take longer depending on how many projects I am working on at the same time.
Here are some of the websites I've created and maintain...
Here are a couple of promotional videos I created using stock media and screen recordings. The videos were produced in Adobe Premiere Pro.
When it comes to writing, I can do website content, press releases, ebooks, and more.

Asperger's Syndrome is a personality disorder that is on the autism spectrum. It was first discovered by Dr. Hans Asperger, a Viennese pediatrician, in 1944.
Dr. Asperger initially called the condition as Autistische Psychopaths in Kindersalter or autistic personality disorder. Later on, it became known as Asperger's Syndrome.
A lot has changed since the 1940's. Asperger's Syndrome is now considered a form of high-functioning autism and the diagnosis is now under the umbrella term Autism Spectrum Disorder. The change occurred in 2013 with the release of the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders or DSM.
