Domain Names

A domain name is the address for how people can find your website. You can learn more about domain names in our guide.

When we need to buy domain names, we get them from Namecheap because they are the cheapest and they include free registration privacy (something other domain registrars often charge for).

Website Hosting

Website hosting is a very big decision and can be a rather big expense unless you know where to look. Learn what to look for in a website host in our guide.

For hosting, we love HawkHost. They have reliable servers, lots of great features, and affordable prices.

This is an easy to use page builder that enables us to quickly and easily build out page layouts that are mobile-friendly and look great. Beaver Builder also has a theme that we can customize, which we use a lot on our sites.

Fluent Forms
Like our forms? We built them using a powerful form plugin called Fluent Forms. It has integrations with MailChimp, Zapier, and many other services. With it we can build contact forms, order forms, and just about any form our clients need.

Ninja Tables
For websites that need to display information in a table, we like to use Ninja Tables. It works with Fluent Forms and is a very powerful plugin.

If you're looking for a simple and affordable membership system, UsersWP is one of our first choice. The base plugin is free and their selection of affordable addons can expand the functionality to suit the needs of most websites.

If you want a full-featured membership system with powerful integrations, then you will love Memberpress. Though not free, their system is the favorite among the creators making sales over $1,000,000. Priced at only $179.50 a year, the system is a real bargain when you consider how it will improve your user's experience and encourage more sales.

Website Analytics

How much traffic is your website getting? Though there is not way to know exactly how many visitors your website gets, website analytics tools will be able to give you some estimates. These are our favorite tools as, unlike Google Analytics, they respect privacy and don't sell your data.

For website analytics, privacy and cost are both important. We have tested out a lot of tools and this one has shown itself to be the best alternative to Google Analytics. It's powerful, easy to install, and free! Matomo has a WordPress plugin as well as the option to use their cloud hosted version starting at $23/month or to host it on your own server for free. It is by far the best and most affordable analytics option that also respects the privacy of your users!

Visitor Analytics
Knowing how many visitors your website and how they got there is crucial to ensure your marketing strategies are effective. Visitor Analytics is a tool that has options to make it GDPR compliant and it provides a lot of information about your website traffic in real time. If you care about accuracy and privacy, as well as want details about where people click, then this is the option for you. They have a free option for low traffic sites, and their paid options start at $9.99/month.
