Shopping Carts
Ecwid
Ecwid is a shopping cart system that makes it easy to sell across different marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Facebook, and more. Their subscriptions start at only $15/month, though they also have a limited free plan.
Payment Processors
If you want to accept payments online, then you need a payment processor to collect, process, and store your customer's credit or debit card payments. Here are the payment processors we recommend:
Stripe
Stripe is one of the most popular online payment processors on the web, with the widest support for US based sellers. They charge 2.9% + $0.30 per successful transaction, which is cheaper than PayPal.
PayPal
PayPal is probably one of the most recognized companies on the web, with it's popularity as a trusted payment processor. PayPal fees are currently 3.49% + $0.49.
Print on demand
Do you want to sell shirts, tote bags, hats, or other products from your website? If so, you may want to consider using a print on demand service that can accept and fulfill the orders for you. Here are our favorites:
Printful
Printful supports a wide variety of platforms, including Etsy, WooCommerce (WordPress), Wix, Shopify, Weebly, and more. With Printful, you can quickly and easily setup a shop and start creating your products. The features and tools offered by Printful makes it a great choice for many businesses and entrepreneurs.
Printify
Printify is similar to Printful but with fewer features and integrations. Printify differs in that it works with different printer providers. When you create your products, you decide which ones to use that best suit the location and cost. While definitely not as awesome as Printful, Printify is still a great option for those that want to have some control over where their products are produced (as not all printers are the same - quality and prices can vary).
