Thank you again for this opportunity to work with you. I promise to do my best!

Project Recommendations

Setting up a business offering translation services, especially when it encompasses such pivotal areas as legal, medical, and immigration, demands a digital presence that’s both robust and accessible. For a venture as crucial as yours, it’s essential to have a website that not only communicates your expertise but also resonates with your target audience in both English and Spanish. Here’s a tailored roadmap to ensure your translation business stands out:

  1. Email Hosting with Free Domain Name: We recommend getting email hosting for a professional domain name. The lowest cost email hosting plan through IONOS, one of our partners, is only $1 per month per email account, and it includes a free domain name. If you’re looking for more storage space or additional features, they have other plans available. The cheapest plan includes:
    • Free privacy protection with the domain name registration
    • 1 email account with 2 GB of email storage
    • Spam filter
    • Webmail (access through a web browser)
    • Synchronized email across your devices
    • 24/7 expert support
  2. Website Builder with Hosting: We’re moving away from WordPress websites because AI-powered tools are making it easier, faster, and cheaper to build websites. They have the added advantage of having lower maintenance costs and security risks than our traditional methods. We are recommending a website builder called the Unicorn Platform. Their plans start at $9 per month, or if you pay upfront annually, it’s $300/year. If you make the purchase yourself, you can get 20% off their services with this promo code: viafirst20.  Here are the key features:
    • Creates professionally designed and high-converting landing pages.
    • Powered by ChatGPT-4, it creates, maintains, translates, promotes, SEO optimizes, updates, and A/B tests your website pages automatically.
    • User-friendly tools with an intuitive interface. No coding is required.
    • You can customize the website and add advanced features with custom code.
    • Multilingual support that allows you to automatically translate your website into any language you want.
    • Responsive and modern designs that ensure your website looks great across all devices.
    • Built-in SEO tools that help improve your website’s rank in the search engines.
    • No coding required, just use a drag-and-drop editor that will allow even beginners to build professional-looking websites with little learning curve.
  3. Branding: A simple yet memorable logo can make all the difference. It’s the visual handshake, the first impression. Pair this with business cards, ensuring your brand remains consistent across all touchpoints. We offer simple and professional logo and graphic design. Our most popular offerings are:
    • Simple Textmark Logo Design that may include a basic shape or stock/AI-generated graphic for added flair for only $60. It includes up to 6 variations and 3 revisions. You will receive the logo in different colors and formats to be used across various media for all your needs.
    • Simple Iconic Brand Mark Design that features a custom iconic silhouette or shape designed to match your brand and desired visual identity, that costs only $90. This service is designed to be an add-on to the textmark logo design service. It includes up to 6 variations and 3 revisions. You will receive all the files and formats you need.
  4. Recommended Website Page Structure:
    • Home Page: A landing page for your business that is designed to convert.
    • Translation Services: A detailed breakdown of your offerings, perhaps segmented into sub-pages or sections for clarity.
    • Blog: A section of the site where you can post content valuable to your audience that will keep your website fresh and help improve your search engine ranking.
    • About Page: A glimpse into your journey, ethos, and expertise.
    • Contact Page: An avenue for potential clients to reach out, complete with a contact form.
  5. Language Accessibility: Given the bilingual nature of your services, it’s paramount to have the content available in both English and Spanish. Users need the ability to switch languages as well. The Unicorn Platform includes this ability which can be enabled and setup to suit your needs.
  6. SEO Optimization: The Unicorn Platform‘s AI-powered engine takes care of it all. From SEO optimization with up-to-date keywords and phrases, to A/B testing with multiple variations of your page, it handles everything automatically for you, so you don’t have to worry about it or paying extra for SEO related services.
  7. Social Media Promotion: When it comes to translation services, platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram are invaluable. They offer a blend of professional networking and community engagement, allowing you to showcase your expertise and connect with potential clients. You can schedule posts for 3 platforms for free using Social Champ. Their paid plans unlock access to more platforms and additional features that you might find extremely helpful as you use social media to promote your business.
  8. Disclaimer: It’s essential to have a clear disclaimer, emphasizing that while you offer translation for legal documents, you neither provide legal advice nor assist in filling out immigration paperwork. AI tools can generate a disclaimer for your business fairly accurately, though it is recommended to have it reviewed by a lawyer or to use a legal template. Affordable legal services of this nature are available through Rocket Lawyer.

By integrating these recommendations, your translation business will not only have a robust online presence but will also be poised to cater to a diverse clientele, bridging language barriers and fostering understanding.

Cost Breakdown

Your investment in creating a powerful online presence can take two distinct paths. You can choose our Turnkey Solution where we handle everything for you, ensuring a seamless experience. Alternatively, if you’re feeling adventurous and want to be more hands-on, we offer a Guided DIY approach where you make direct purchases and we provide expert assistance and support.

Whichever approach you choose, you can pair it with one or more of our design and development services. Each service has an upfront, one-time cost the provides you with the service you need to accomplish what you’re looking to do.

  • Simple Website Setup and Design ($150) – A basic package ideal for startups or personal sites. Includes planning for up to 5 pages, content creation for core pages, and stock photo selection with basic editing.
  • Simple Textmark Logo Design ($60) – Create a lasting impression with a minimalist text logo. Tailored to your brand and may include a geometric shape for added flair.
  • Iconic Brand Mark ($90) – Pair your brand name with an iconic silhouette or shape, crafting a memorable visual identity. Custom designed and unique. Includes ownership and exclusive commercial rights to use and even trademark it for your business. (Add-on to the Simple Textmark Logo Design service).
  • One-Time Email Setup and Support ($20) – Configuration of email accounts and client-side setup support. Includes setup for up to 2 email accounts and updating the DNS settings.

If you choose all of these services, the total is only $320. If you don’t want an icon or graphic in your logo, then the cost is only $230.

In addition to these services, you will need a website domain name, hosting, and email hosting (you can think of it like a mailing address, a parcel of land to build on, and a mailbox). The cost for these services are not included in the prices above. These services have to be purchased separately and have an ongoing cost. Which Website Hosting and Builder Plan Should You Choose?

The differences between the website builder plans are as follows:

  • Maker Plan
    • This plan provides the essentials for what you need.
      • Let’s you use a domain name with your website (like tuvozcuenta.net)
      • You’re able to post up to 10 blog posts
      • You get their website hosting and access to their AI website builder
    • It has a notice in the bottom corner that says the website was built using the Unicorn Platform
  • Startup Plan
    • This plan is better for business websites as it will remove the platform branding.
      • Like the Maker plan you can use a domain name with your website
      • You can post unlimited blog posts
      • You get their website hosting and access to their AI website builder
      • You can add a user to collaborate with (ie. someone who can manage/edit/customize the site)
  • Business Plan
    • If you want to create more than one website, then this is the plan to choose.
      • It has the same features as the startup plan
      • It let’s you publish 2 more websites
      • You can add unlimited collaborators

Any of these plans will work for your website. The best would be the Startup plan if you only plan on having one website. If you don’t plan on having a blog with a lot of posts and don’t mind the small platform branding message that will appear in the corner, then the Maker plan will work just fine.

If you think you might offer different services that might require a different website, then I would recommend the Business plan option since it supports 3 websites, instead of just one.

Which Email Hosting Plan Should You Choose?

For the email hosting plans, the cheapest $1/month Basic 1 plan is likely sufficient, but if you think you need additional features like additional storage or more security, then you could consider the other plans. If you’re not sending or receiving a lot of files by email, then the cheap plan should be perfectly fine for you.

The Microsoft and Google options include additional storage and access to various business software and video conferencing tools that you may not need.

Other Services

In addition to the recommended services above, we offer some other services that may interest you:

  • Simple 30-Second Promo Video ($75) – A concise 30-second promotional video featuring simple transitions, a short script, AI-generated voice narration, and the use of stock photos/video clips. Exported in MP4 and WEBM formats.
  • Simple Promo Video ($150) – A promotional video up to 2 minutes in length, featuring simple transitions, an AI-written video script, AI-generated voice narration, and the use of stock photos/video clips. Exported in MP4 and WEBM formats.
  • Essential Business Card Design ($60) – A standard double-sided business card design tailored to your brand.
  • Stationary Essentials ($150) – Enhance your brand presence across professional stationary including letterheads, envelopes, and business cards.

Whichever path you choose, we will do our best to assist you and help you on the path to success.
