In addition to my existing workload, I have been heavily involved in the expansion of my business, forming a skilled team, and updating our procedures and systems to provide better and faster service. This significant undertaking has already spanned several weeks and isn’t yet complete. As I bring on new talent to assist, it will affect my pricing, making it difficult to give exact prices for services until the team and new systems are in place.

To offer greater flexibility, I am implementing a new tiered pricing system. Each tier provides more comprehensive services and higher quality. The tiers are as follows:

  • Essential Services – For budgets $500 or less
  • Standard Services – For budgets between $500 and $1000
  • Premium Services – For budgets between $1000 and $5000
  • Elite Services – For budgets exceeding $5000

This new tier system, not yet officially announced, aims to provide clarity and transparency regarding the quality and value of services. The exact cost for your projects will depend on the services and features you desire, as well as the level of customization.

To compile this proposal, I based the prices on a combination of the existing rates and anticipated new prices. Some services that previously had separate charges will now be included, and vice versa. I have applied two discounts on the totals, which are detailed below.

Over the next month or so, I will post new flat-rate prices, but I will honor the prices shown in this proposal for up to 60 days.

This project revolves around designing and launching a new website for your cross country track team. Based on the assessment of the Tiger Sports website, the website features we believe you would be most interested in are:

  • Embedding a Google calendar on the website that shows the current and upcoming events
  • Photo gallery to show the team and/or state championships
  • Embedding PDFs of relevant athletic documents
  • Embedding the athletic school news
  • Contact form
  • Track sign up form

Features not included in the proposal that you might want to consider are:

  • Email sign up for parents and spectators to get updates about the track meets

  • Page or section for sponsors or partnerships, with instructions for how to become a sponsor/partner and a form to sign up

Recommended Website Structure

In evaluating the existing athletics website and considering the pages that would be most useful to parents and students, we recommend the website have the following pages:

  1. Homepage: An inviting and informational page that serves as the gateway to other sections of the website. It could highlight upcoming events or news.
  2. About: Information about the team, including its history, mission, and any significant achievements.
    • Information: A section that includes any other important info for parents and athletes, such as registration forms, training guides, dietary suggestions, etc.
    • Team Roster: Introduce the team members with photos, names, and possibly short bios or statistics.
    • Photo Gallery: A place to showcase images from meets, practices, and other team-related events.
  3. Calendar: A dedicated page where upcoming meets and events are shown on the calendar. This can be a Google calendar that is embedded on the page, or another event calendar solution.
  4. News: A page for posting results from past meets and news updates related to the team. The school’s athletic news could also be embedded on the page.
  5. Directions: Information and maps to event locations. Maps to the locations could be embedded on the page with a link to directions.
  6. Contact: A page with contact information for coaches and any relevant staff, as well as a form for easy email inquiries.
  7. Resources: A page to place relevant external links, such as to the main school website or related athletic programs.

If this structure is used, the website would have ten primary pages. The main navigation would have the links: Home, About, Calendar, News, Directions, Contact, and Resources. The pages listed under the About page could be shown on the navigation as a submenu or shown as buttons or links on the About page.

Our pricing for website design services starts at $299 for the Essential tier and scales up depending on the level of customization desired.

  • Essential Design – $299: Our entry-level package is perfect for startups or small businesses that need a solid online presence without too many frills. We will set up a WordPress site, perform a simple installation, apply an existing theme (we provide a free theme), and create up to five pages with your content and images, all structured in an appealing and user-friendly layout. If you need more than five pages, additional pages can be created for just $20 each. For only $120 more, we offer minor customization options, such as altering default theme styles, making basic modifications to the website’s appearance, adding a simple background video, or introducing simple animation effects to page elements. This tier is all about getting you online quickly with a professional and functional website.
  • Standard Design – $599: The standard package takes the essential design services a step further. Not only do we include everything from the Essential tier, but we also offer a greater level of customization. This might include refining color schemes, typographies, and layouts to better match your brand identity, optimizing the user interface for enhanced usability, or integrating social media and blog pages. This package aims to give your website a more personalized feel that aligns more closely with your brand ethos.
  • Premium Design – $1499: The premium package offers advanced customization options.   • Standard Shared Hosting – $99/year: Starting at $99/year, our Standard Shared Hosting is ideal for small businesses, startups, and personal websites with low to moderate traffic. This package includes 24/7 server monitoring, automated backups, updates, and security checks. With our standard shared hosting, you can host unlimited websites and email accounts as long as it does not exceed 10 GB of total storage. This package includes up to 10 edits per month and offers all the benefits of the Essential Maintenance package. It also includes basic SEO monitoring to ensure the site remains optimized for search engines, and monthly reports on website performance.
  • Premium Maintenance – $180/month: Our Premium Maintenance package is designed for businesses that require frequent website updates. It includes up to 30 edits per month, making it ideal for daily changes and updates. Along with the services provided in the Standard Maintenance package, the Premium package also includes priority support and weekly performance and SEO reports.
  • Elite Maintenance – $299/month: The Elite Maintenance package is our most comprehensive offering. It provides unlimited edits and updates each month. For projects costing less than $1,000, we typically require payment upfront unless you have made payment arrangements with us. For projects over $1,000, we require a 50% down payment before services are rendered. We accept various forms of payment including credit cards, PayPal, Goldbacks, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, cash, checks, and money orders.

In addition to our standard packages, we offer optional add-on services, such as graphic design, video editing, and more.
