You are welcome to purchase a domain name and hosting separately, or if you would like it managed for you, I can register and set it up for you, helping save you time – plus it makes it easier for me to troubleshoot in the event there are any issues that come up.

Recommended Services
Based on our conversation on Friday, it sounds like you would like a simple website with I would recommend the following features on your website:
- Website domain name (ex. blacktieentertainment.net) and hosting
- 5-page WordPress website setup (homepage, about page, product/services page, contact page, booking page)
- Booking/rental system
- Online payments
- Basic SEO (search engine optimization)
- Standard business cards
I’ll break down the recommendations for each of these things below.
Website Domain Name and Hosting
For the website hosting and domain, I can purchase the domain name and setup hosting on my server. Shared hosting is typically sufficient in most cases, and it includes email hosting.
If you would rather purchase it yourself, you are welcome to do so. I typically recommend Hawk Host for website hosting and Dynadot for domain names. There are some drawbacks to registering it yourself – in order to set things up for you, you will have to give me some kind of access to your accounts. The other drawback is that it can make it more difficult and slower to troubleshoot certain issues. Regardless, I’m happy to assist, whatever you decide.
5-Page WordPress Website Setup
Since your website is fairly simple, I believe it is a great fit for the WordPress platform. If you would like to learn about WordPress and why I recommend it, you can read about that here.
For the pages of the website, I recommend the following pages:
- Homepage: This page will typically be the first page people see when they visit your website. It will have an eye-catching featured image or video at the top, with a summary of what you’re offering.
- Party & Event Solutions: This page will have information about the photo booth rental and any current or future add-on services or products you want to offer.
- Book Now: This page will be where people can book the photo booth and order any add-on products/services you wish to offer.
- About: This page can talk about you and your business, so they can get to know about your business.
- Contact: This page shows the ways people can contact your business, which includes a contact form and links to any social media pages.
Booking/Rental System
The WordPress platform has plugins that can be added to your website to add the functionality you need to support online booking or rentals. I found a plugin that I believe is perfect for what you need and the cost for it is very reasonable. It has a lot of great features that you can use as it is designed specifically for renting out items and has features that will work with your future plans.
Here is a list of the key features it offers that would work perfectly for your site:
- Flexible Pricing System and Promotions
Set up hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly rental costs. No matter if you rent items for short or long terms. Set up seasonal rates and promotions to attract more guests. - Time Slots for your rentals
Use the Time Slots feature to let the customer choose the Pick Up/Start Date and the duration for their rental. Set up fixed duration options like “Half-Day”, “Full Day”, “One Week”, etc. - Options, Extras and Additional Fees
Offer the possibility to book Options or Extra Services. Set up Extra Fees for all rentals or for certain items only. - Delivery Service
You can set up the delivery service for your items. The system will automatically calculate the distance to the specified address to apply the corresponding cost for the service. - Multi-purpose, Multi-item and Multi-quantity
Allow your guests to book multiple items within the same rental order, or items with multiple quantities. Set up all items and rental options in the way you want. - Add Restrictions to the rentals
Thanks to the Restrictions you can define the minimum or maximum days of rent for certain periods of the year, or even disable the pick up/drop off on certain week days. - Discounts based on quantities
Add automated discounts to certain items when guests are booking two or more units. Attract more guests by offering competitive discounts and prices. - Related Items
Advertise additional items in case guests are booking specific types of items. - Check Availability and Status
Each rental item will have its own availability calendar showing all the rental orders with their different statuses. Keep them under control from the back-end section of your website. - An easy tool for the management team
Thanks to the dashboard it will be easy for you to see the customers that are collecting or returning the items today, as well as upcoming reservations. - Custom and automated Email Reminders
You can automatize some tasks such as to sending a custom reminder via email to all customers that will be picking up in the day after, or send an email after the drop-off to invite your customers to leave a feedback. - Accept deposits or the full balance online
Clients can pay the entire amount or a percentage of the total value as a deposit. Let the customers pay their rentals online via credit card, and collect the payment through your preferred payment gateway (ie. PayPal, Stripe, Square, etc.).
To get access to the features needed, there is a one-time fee by the plugin developer of around $120 (the cost is estimated as it has to be converted from Euros).
Online Payments
As explained above, the booking system can handle accepting payments online. However, if you are wanting to have a place on your website where people can submit payments outside of the booking system, then you’ll need some added functionality.
In that case, you have some options. An online payment form could be added to the site that could facilitate those transactions, so when someone wants to send a payment, they could visit a page on your website and submit their payment through a form, specifying how much they want to pay and enter in their payment details. While this method can work, it may not be what you have in mind as it lacks certain features you may need.
An invoicing system may be a better fit as you could invoice your customers and then they would click a link to view the invoice and pay it online. If you would like that functionality added into your website, let me know and I can check into specific plugins designed for that purpose.
To keep costs down, I typically recommend using a platform like WaveApps.com as it is free to use, they just charge a fee to process each payments. The downside to using it is that it wouldn’t be integrated with your website. While it’s a bit of an inconvenience, it is a secure and reliable way to invoice customers and accept payments online.
Basic SEO
Using keywords on your website will be key for ranking at the top of the search engine results. The average number of searches per month is less than 100 for most of the keywords we discussed. That means it will be best to target a series of keywords that are most relevant to what you’re offering.
Here’s a list of the keywords used by one of your competitors with the average number of searches per month:
- ‘ar photo booth’ – 90/month
- ‘photo booth small’ – 50/month
- ‘arkansas photo booth’ – 30/month
- ‘photo booth rental little rock ar’ – 30/month
There are some things I can do on the website that will help your website be picked up by the search engines for these keywords, but if you really want to be successful with SEO, I highly recommend the following:
- Setup a YouTube channel and target the keywords in the title and descriptions of the videos you post. YouTube is like a search engine itself and by posting relevant videos that align with the keywords, it can help the videos appear near the top of the page or on the first or second page.
- Setup a Google Business Listing and include keywords in the description for what you offer. Include eye catching photos and video.
Standard Business Cards
For business cards, I typically recommend double-sided designs and I offer low-cost printing through a company I partner with. The fastest turnaround on printing standard business cards is about 3 business days. The design typically takes 1 to 3 business days, depending on what you would like and how many changes are made during the design phase. I typically include a QR code on the cards to make it easy for people to scan the QR code to visit your website. If you’re looking for specialty cards or something that stands out, I can do that too, just let me know.
Double-sided Design: $60, After discount: $51
Printing Estimates:
- 500 business cards – $34.97 with free 2-day shipping (best value)
- 250 business cards – $14.86 + $12 (est.) for 3-day shipping = ~$26.86
- 100 business cards – $13.56 + $12 (est.) for 3-day shipping = ~$25.56
Smaller and larger quantities are available, as well as other shipping options, but the best value is with the larger quantities. If you would like additional estimates, let me know what you’d be most interested in and I’ll put together some quotes. The printing prices above are basically at cost as I try to give you the best prices I can.
Website Packages
Each service package is thoughtfully composed, providing flexibility to adjust according to your needs. You can mix and match services, adding or removing features to fit your vision and budget.
Essential Service Package ~ $515, After discount: $455.75
Just looking for a very simple website? With this package, I’ll take care of all the essentials. I’ll plan, build, and design your website, delivering a professional website that is fast, secure, and works for what you need. It’s nothing fancy, just the basics.
- What’s included:
- Core Services: Includes Standard Domain Name, Essential Shared Hosting, Hosting Setup, Website Planning, and Content, WordPress Installation, and Basic Configuration, Simple 5-Page Site Setup with contact form. Total: $320.
- Booking/Rental System Setup: Installation and setup of a booking/rental plugin to handle online orders and payments for the photo booth rental. Total: $195 ($75 setup fee + $120 one-time fee for the plugin).
Standard Service Package ~ $745, After discount: $651.25
If you would like to improve your search engine ranking, I can add a special plugin that controls the text and images that show up in the search results and on social media. It’s highly recommended, but not essential, so I’ve put it in the standard package. With this package, you will also get enhancements to the look of the website, such as animations, video backgrounds, and other special effects that make the site stand out.
- What’s included:
- Includes Everything in Essential Package.
- SEO Plugin Installation & Setup For 5 Pages: Optimize your website for search engines to increase visibility. Includes basic configuration. Price: $130.
- Essential Theme Tune-Up: Basic adjustments to improve your site’s appearance beyond the default template styles, customizing it to better match the desired look and feel. Price: $100.
Comprehensive Service Package ~ $970, After discount: $842.50
With this package, you get all of the above, plus targeted keyword research to help you stand out against your competition in the search results and an AI chatbot for your website. An AI chatbot would be a fitting assistant given the high-tech photo booth you have, which is why I thought I’d include it in this package. The AI chatbot will use ChatGPT to reply to prospective customers and will be able to answer basic questions about what you offer.
- What’s included:Â
- Includes Everything in Standard Package.
- Targeted Keyword Research: Identify valuable keywords to improve your website’s search engine ranking and attract the right audience. This service is basically a deep dive into keywords research to discover keywords that your competitors aren’t using or identify the best keywords for your area that get the most searches per month. These keywords are not only useful for your website content, but on social media as well and your Google business listing. Price: $150.
- AI Chatbot Setup: Install a chatbot on your site to automatically answer questions and interact with prospective customers. Requires access to third-party services that may require a monthly or annual subscription to use and that cost depends on actual usage (such charges are not included). Price: $75.
Ongoing Costs
Website Domain and Hosting
For your website to remain up and running, you will be responsible for annual charges for the website hosting and domain name. These services are required for the website to work. If you would like to use a different provider or if you already have a provider you are working with, I can typically work with whatever service provider you choose, just let me know.
The packages above include the charges below already, so after the first year, the following will be due for renewal:
- Essential Shared Hosting: $60/year
- Standard Domain Name (.com, .org, .net): $18/year
If you want to pay for two or more years in advance, please let me know.
Website Management
Once the site is up, it will generally update automatically, which helps keep your site secure. However, you may want content changes from time to time. I build sites with tools that you can learn to use yourself or I can take care of it for you. If you would like changes made for you, these packages should cover any types of changes you might need.
One-Time Maintenance:
- One-Time Essential Maintenance: Basic content edits (text changes), addition of a single new page, and minor graphic changes. Price: $30.
- One-Time Standard Maintenance: Content edits, addition of up to 3 new pages, minor navigation changes, graphics addition or edits, and basic layout changes. Price: $60.
- One-Time Premium Maintenance: Content overhaul, addition of unlimited pages, navigation restructuring, advanced graphics work, layout redesigns, and theme color/style adjustments. Price: $250.
Ongoing Maintenance:
- Monthly Essential Maintenance Plan: Basic content edits (text changes), addition of a single new page, and minor graphic changes. Charged each month, with 1-year commitment. Price: $25.
- Monthly Standard Maintenance Plan: Content edits, addition of up to 3 new pages per month, minor navigation changes, graphics addition or edits, and basic layout changes. Charged each month, with 1-year commitment. Price: $50.
- Monthly Premium Maintenance Plan: Content overhaul, addition of unlimited pages, navigation restructuring, advanced graphics work, layout redesigns, and theme color/style adjustments. Charged each month, with 1-year commitment. Price: $112.
Payment Terms
For endeavors priced below $1,000, upfront payment is generally required. For those exceeding $1,000, an initial 50% deposit will set the project in motion. However, we do our best to accommodate all budgets. We can often split the total cost into several installments to alleviate any financial pressure or work out a custom payment plan for your project.
Our accepted payment methods include credit and debit cards, PayPal, Goldbacks, Bitcoin, cash, checks, and money orders. By default, invoices are sent out using our traditional payment system that accepts credit and debit cards. If you would like to pay using another method, please let us know so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
Estimated Turnaround
- Essential Service Package: Approximately 1-2 weeks. This includes setting up the website with the pages and basic features.
- Standard Service Package: Around 2-3 weeks. This package adds the SEO settings with enhanced theme customization, requiring some additional time.
- Comprehensive Service Package: Approximately 2-4 weeks. The inclusion of an AI chatbot and targeted keyword research extends the turnaround time.
The turnaround times are estimates and can vary based on the specific needs and complexity of the project. We also offer a priority service for an additional $200 fee for faster completion.
Please note: Revision times are not included in these estimated timeframes, and will depend on what changes you want made. Any delays in providing information we need, approving designs or content, or any changes to the services required can result in delays in completing the project.
